Horse Sitter Wanted
I am looking for a teenager or older to look after my 3 - 4 horses while I'm away on some weekends during the Spring/Summer. The duties are feeding and watering 3 - 4 horses morninrg and night, and picking their paddocks once a day. The horses are good natured, and if you feed them first, then pick they will ignore you altogether. They are handled regularly and have good ground manners. There is also a barn cat to feed. Feeding and watering takes about 15 minutes morning and night, and picking is usually about 2 wheelbarrow loads, so can take anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes depending on how quick you are. The job pays $20 a day. If only one feeding is required (eg - if I feed in the morning before I leave) then it would be $10 for that day. I may also take a longer vacation (1 - 2 weeks) and ideally would like the same person to be available for that. If I'm away at a horse show then only 3 horses would be at home.
