| How do I place a classified? Before you can post your free classified ad you must sign up and log in. Once you're signed in, either click on Place an Ad from the navigation bar or from the My Account page. Make sure to fill out all of the necessary fields and press submit. It's completely free with up to four pictures.
How do I place my business in one of the services pages? Contact admin.team@untackme.com for more information.
I want to advertise my business on your website, but I don't see a relevant category. We can always accommodate any sort of business, please contact us for more information.
Uploading a picture won't work. If you receive an error message about your photo being too large then you'll need to make it smaller. One way is to use Microsoft Paint (which comes with all Windows operating systems).
Click Start, Programs, Accessories, then Paint.
Open the image file you wish to edit.
Click the Image Menu at the top and select Stretch/Skew Image.
Choose a percentage figure to resize the image. To avoid distortion, choose the same percentage for the horizontal and vertical stretch.
Click OK.
Once you have the desired size, click File, then Save or click Save As... to prevent overwriting the original image.
If you receive an error message about an invalid file type then you must change your photo to an acceptable file type. Acceptable file types are ".jpg", ".png", ".jpeg", ".gif", ".pjpeg". To change the file type, open your photo in Microsoft Paint as explained above, then choose File, Save As and select one of these file types from the dropdown "save as type" dropdown box.
How do I delete or edit a classified? Sign in to your account and go to the My Account page. Click the red X to delete, or the blue tools to edit.
What are "Wanted Matches"? On the My Account page you will notice a section called Wanted Matches. UnTackMe.com automatically goes through your listings and tries to match them with wanted ads on our site to save you time. If there is a possible match it will show up there.
Are the Sponsor Ads in the right hand column from a third party site? No, these are businesses that have become an UnTackMe.com advertiser.
What is the easiest way to show my friends a classified ad? Click on the Share this ad button on each individual classified page to automatically share the ad with your friends on Facebook. This is also an easy way to let people know you have something for sale.
